I ended up scheduling a photo shoot for the different aspects of the magazine. I found some DIY crafts to use as references for articles in the flat plan as well as soon food items and holiday landscape areas to use in the cooking and gardening sections, respectively. I made sure to always have my camera in focus and to take each photo with and without flash. This allowed me to see which option was better and more pleasing to view in the magazine. I also took a variety of landscape and portrait photos to fit in any necessary areas in the draft.
